Applied consolidates its operating names and have all operations under the Applied Industrial Technologies banner.

2016

Applied acquires Seals Unlimited, located in Burlington, ON who specializes in providing sealing solutions to the Nuclear as well as highly regulated industries

2015

Applied Industrial Technologies opens a Distribution Center in Quebec City and increase its local core product inventory to enhanced customer service in Eastern Canada.

2014

Applied acquires Reliance Industrial Products from Nisku, AB. The acquisition provides a solid coverage across multiple locations in the Alberta energy sector.

2012

Applied Industrial Technologies acquires Norma Bearing in Laval to strengthen its presence in Quebec; Also acquired Bearing & Oil Seals Specialists in Hamilton, Ontario to expand its knowledge & expertise with sealing technologies. Solutions Industrielles & Spécialités Industrielles Harvey acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies, adding an additional 3 locations to Applied’s geographic footprint in Quebec.

2011

Chaines-Plus acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies, providing Applied with a single location in Brossard, QC and marking Applied’s first local presence in the Montreal market.

2010

SCS Supply Group Inc. acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies

The acquisition of SCS Supply Group expanded Applied’s service network, adding 8 new locations in Southern Ontario.

2008

Toronto Bearings & Belting, CBS Equipment, & Jakes Bearing amalgamate into SCS Supply Group Inc.

2007

Opened a servicing location in Dartmouth, NS, the first Applied branded servicing location in Canada.

2005

Groupe GLM acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies, adding four mechanical power transmission servicing locations in Québec.

2003

IECO locations changed operating names to Bearing & Transmission.

2002

Industrial Equipment Co. Ltd (IECO) acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies.

The IECO purchase expanded Applied’s service coverage in Alberta and BC.

2000

Bearing & Transmission acquired by Applied Industrial Technologies, marking Applied’s first foray into the Canadian marketplace with locations across Western Canada. Applied Industrial Technologies was established as the legal corporation in Canada, to oversee all operating units in Canada, with Head Office in Saskatoon, SK.

1984

Toronto Bearings & Belting was founded & Jake’s Bearings & Supplies was founded in Chatham, ON.

1964

Groupe GLM was founded in Baie-Comeau, QC.

CBS Equipment was founded in London, ON.
