December Month of Giving
AIT Canada’s second annual ‘December Month of Giving’ campaign took place in December and after the success of last year, we eagerly expanded this initiative to more AIT Canada locations, with the goal of reaching 17 Food Banks Canada-wide. A big thanks to our associates, customers, suppliers, and the local communities that contributed to this worthy cause – with your help and generosity, we were able to raise 7500 donations (an increase from last year of ~25%) which also resulted in a match on behalf of AIT Canada of $15,000!
We are so proud to be able to help others and give back to the communities we live, work and operate in. A big shout out to all of the folks at Applied who helped coordinate this cause for their respective locations!
It is with great pleasure, that we can officially announce the efforts of all involved in our 17th Annual Applied Golf Classic! This year the Haven Society was selected as the recipient of all charitable donations; Haven Society has been promoting the integrity & safety of women, children, youth, and families within Vancouver Island Community for over 40 years.
Through the donation matching initiative and additional donations from many of our partners, we exceeded all expectations, raising a final grand total of $15,000 for such an amazing cause! A huge shout out to all the golfers who participated, including NTN Canada’s Sales Director, Phil Schmidts for donating his musical talent as the lead guitarist of the band ” Deep Groove and the Rolling Elements “. The band provided a captivating performance that kept the audience engaged on and off their chairs. And a shout out of thanks to Doug Jamieson and the hardworking crew of our Parksville Service Center for their support in executing this successful fundraiser!
A perfect example that when we work together, we can all help Achieve Superior Performance in our communities.
